Erika Daria Halloway is a fine artist/illustrator who resides in Menomonee Falls, Wisconsin. She was born in Tokyo, Japan in 1991 and moved to Michigan, USA at the age of 5. She lived there until 2002 when she and her family moved to her current residence. During that time, she became interested in art from observing her late grandmother’s paintings of landscapes and portraits and began drawing at a young age. Through out her education she took various art electives during her middle and high school years such as drawing, sculpting, and metals. After graduating high school in 2009, she went to the Waukesha County Technical College to study Graphic Design and graduated with an Associates degree in 2012. Shortly after, she attended the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee and studied in the Fine Arts Program, taking on drawing, painting, art history, and jewelry/metalsmith classes. She graduated at the university in December 2016 with a Bachelor’s Degree of Fine Arts.
